Extreme Blog Makeover
We are more than aware our blog and its content have been pretty bleak as of late. We are changing that. We have invited a couple of industry folks to contribute on a regular basis. Introductions are in order and can be found below. Please, add us to your regular 'must read blog' list.
Lawren Ussery

I am Lawren Ussery, addicted to all things wedding, specifically elegant/classic/simple/sophisticated décor. I also am the owner and head designer of Manzanita [event flowers & décor], located on the sunny Central Coast of California in Arroyo Grande. My background in Landscape Architecture has influenced my fresh, conceptual approach to design, and I find my most inspiring floral muses in plants, ranging from the lowly and common to the most uniquely exotic, and in people.
I am also an avid fan of chocolate, my Mac Powerbook G4 (although I’ve been told its time to upgrade), indie rock, XM Radio, Aveda hair products, jackets, and the magic wand tool in Adobe CS3.
Cameron Ingalls

My name is Cameron Ingalls and I own/operate Cameron Ingalls, Inc.. I really like my name for a couple of reasons. 1) I was named after my Grandfather who I am told was a very kind and Godly man. 2) Cameron means crooked nose. 3) I love watching people pride themselves in discovering that my name is closely related to ‘camera’.
Well, now that you know my name here is a little bit about who I am. I’m a real people-person. I was the kid in high school that hung out with all the different groups making my rounds during lunch from the jocks to the surfers to the Goths. I photograph weddings for a living. I find my job fascinating because I find people fascinating. When I hang out in public I people watch and wonder. I check out the things that make them all different or similar and I wonder what they do for a living. I wonder what it would be like to sit down with them and have a glass of wine and talk about their heart and where they grew up and what they dream about. I think that is what inspires me the most; all of the people I get to meet and photograph.
I really love to help people in their journey towards their dreams. Sometimes helping people discover their dreams means just listening to their heart and reflecting what is already there. Sometimes it means removing obstacles that lay in their paths. I believe that so many obstacles become brick walls when they should merely be hurdles.
I live in an amazing place called San Luis Obispo. I got married just 7 months ago. My wife is my best friend and one of the greatest gifts God has given me. We love riding our scooters around town. We plan to have lots of little people someday… but not too soon. We are enjoying living life together, traveling the country and world shooting weddings and getting to know all the amazing people that God brings us along our way.
